Many foolish trees voted for the logging company because they promised to chop down the trees the foolish ones didn’t like. They believed the message from the logging company that the forest was unhealthy not because of unregulated logging, but because of the trees that looked a little different.

There is unrest in the forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the maples want more sunlight
And the oaks ignore their pleas

There was a really brown tree no one voted for because it wasn’t that great of a tree. So instead the axe won which, if you think about it, was the only way to get the trees to finally get off their asses and do something. Though the forest is now gone…oops.

You’d have to be stupid to vote for a billionaire to begin with. But I think it’s psychologically ingrained in humans to worship the wealthy and “successful” thinking it’s all due to their hard work alone, never attributing the factor of luck. It is ironic to say that I’m lucky that I learned early in life that luck has as much of an importance as skills and hard work. It is not something that affected my ego as I learned later in life that many people feel offended if they are told luck has been a contributing factor.
