Seems to unsophisticated for a space traveling being. The artist is anthropomorphizing a bit, like what happened to him in 3rd grade.
It’s kinda true. I did anthropomorphize a lot when I was in 3rd grade. Attributed human behaviors to all kinds of things. “Hey, Mr. Pencil. Looking sharp today!” 😉
