The problem is that the mask is off. They have never cared about the rules, they’ve never cared about the law - it’s always been in bad faith. Now we are in a time of strong men, and anything the strong man says is reality.

These “strongman” are pathetically weak. As soon as Harvard stood up to them they folded like a wet paper bag.

Fear is their weapon. Deny them that and its been proven that they can be beaten. Maybe not easily or without difficulty, but victory is entirely possible.

Not looking like Harvard is a good example. I’ve seen into that they quietly capitulated after all.

This story is what info about that seems to come from. I haven’t looked into the legitimacy of it.

Truth out is usually pretty solid, but a lot of the sources seem to be either working with information they aren’t sharing, or are making leaps of logic. This could either be Harvard quietly dismantling their DEI program… Or massively expanding it.

Yeah, “someone said it on Bluesky” isn’t exactly a great foundation for an article.

Isn’t it “good times create weak men”? Which aligns with what we see. They aren’t strong, just in positions of authority.

The article in the Atlantic brings the point up that it (the letter) reads like it was ghost-written by you know who.

Trump Finally Drops the Anti-Semitism Pretext

The latest letter to Harvard makes clear that the administration’s goal is to punish liberal institutions for the crime of being liberal.

The intensely hostile letter that Education Secretary Linda McMahon… I say McMahon because her signature is at the bottom of the letter, but portions of the document are written in such a distinctive idiolect…

This is what happens when you don’t properly utilize your steak sauce to proof read your letters…
