Harvard is on the right side of history. They kind of have to be. Imagine if their alumni couldn’t talk about graduating from Harvard anymore out of shame.
Seriously though, I hope the rest of the Ivy League is taking note. History will remember who caved to the mad king.

Columbia has a $15 billion endowment and they caved for $500 mil.

Endowments are ear marked. You don’t always get a blank cheque. It may have obligations tied to them.
harvard has a hell of a lot more than just the largest endowment of any educational institution.
Time to figure out what that 10-figure endowment is for.
