Yeah I was hoping a crowd of people literally dogpiled and beat the shit out of these fuckwads. Dogpiled as in tweeted at them? Give me a break.

You warned me, but I didn’t listen. Why didn’t I listen?!

The Department of Justice is instead moving to investigate Good’s widow
Jesus fucking Christ, the nerve of these people
I bet many more didn’t even get reported as murders in the first place. There are probably a shit load of cases from back in the day with 1950s wives poisoning their husbands or some shit that just got chalked up to heart attacks.

Well I mean it doesn’t have to be out of the toilet, but yeah that’s the idea.
Good point. When I go “how hard can it be?” and try to fix my car by myself - I inevitably end up eating humble pie and paying a mechanic.
When CEOs lay off half the company, they cash out their stock and get hired to run another company before they see any consequences.

Props to Powell for standing firm. So many other people in places of trust have just crumbled or resigned, only to be replaced by Trump’s yes men.
Yeah that’s Dunning-Kruger in a nutshell. Kind of scary that almost everyone in leadership positions sits atop the peak of “Mount Stupid” for most of the things they make decisions about.

“I’ll take the sticker off my pass after Trump takes his name off the Kennedy Center.”
Well played

Whoopsie!

Boy do they have egg on their faces

Vigilante justice is a huge problem when the system fails. There’s a reason the drug trade is so violent - because people in the drug trade have no legal way of settling disputes through normal channels.
So when Trump and Co think they’re protecting their own by stonewalling investigations and preventing the justice system from working as intended, don’t be surprised when people resort to vigilante justice and violence.

That reminded me of a time our data warehouse broke when we had a person named Katherine apply for a job. In the Workday form entry she put a 😸 emoji.

I don’t know if it’s entirely unrelated. It shows he absolutely has no law enforcement training and is incapable of learning from his mistakes. Seems like he’s got an MO of trying to assault people in their cars.

“Recovering in the hospital”. What a fucking joke. Straight up 1984 telling you not to believe your lying eyes.
Huh, if you select “No” it gives you an option to go to an alternate DDG homepage “noai.duckduckgo.com”. But it looks like if you just go to their normal homepage, they’ve got a link to DuckAI at the top, searching for images defaults to including AI images, and they have a Search Assist that uses AI as well.
So even though the overwhelming majority of their users have responded “No AI”, they’re still defaulting everyone to the “Yes AI” experience unless you use an alternate URL. That’s kind of shitty. I mean at least they have a “no” option, but seems like it should be the default.
