I use Debian on my desktop PC and laptop and OpenBSD on the other laptop.
I am both a chad and schizo.
Edit: And no, not because of Gentoo.
OpenBSD is pretty cool.
On Linux you can indeed install old apps. You will just need to spend few hours doing so… or use Flatpak I guess.
I use Debian GNU/Linux ftw.

I am 30 so close enough.

Like a month ago, someone wanted to connect my laptop to a projector in university class to show presentation. Little did I know that after connecting HDMI cable I will have a black screen on my laptop, lol.
If I knew my laptop is going to be used in such way I would prepare, but still…

I don’t understand the hype about TikTok anyway. I installed it few weeks ago, and uninstalled few days later because how boring and useless the app is.
I must be old.
Wtf is a left wing architecture.
The shit far right comes up with sometimes melts my brain.
Sure, but you still need to package Steam for all different “Linux distributions” (I put it in quotes, because I dislike the term) separately, or use things like Flatpak, which some people might be comfortable with, and others not really.
And if you go to page like ProtonDB, it shows that people have all different hardware and software configurations and it’s a big mess, because you are never sure if game will work or not, until you try (and maybe try different “hacks” to get it running). I have problems running ETS2 (Euro Truck Simulator 2) on Debian, even though it run on Windows fine, and let me say: I don’t have time for this shit.
I use Linux, because I am fed up with Windows, and I don’t really play games anymore (or at least modern titles) but if I replace my computer this year to get new build (will run Debian of course), I think I will just install either Bazzite or Windows 11 (or both) on the PC I am currently using, and let my brother play games there.

It still probably doesn’t run two applications that I like to use, that is paint.net and the latest free version of SketchUp (unavailable for download officially).
I am a Zillenial and I do the same.
The problem with Linux is that you can’t target… Linux. Because there’s no single Linux.
Treat jobs like these as temporary.
Look for jobs that actually matter and you find interesting.

This is just pure idiocy and desperation at this point.
The hardest part is getting up from bed. Everything else is much easier.

Last time I used Excel extensively was in high school, and after using Google Sheets for many years, going back to Excel feels like nightmare. I don’t know how to explain it, but last time I needed it for something, it felt very frustrating to use.

I had that feeling just before new year.
These are actually my predictions for 2026 :
I remember being banned on some subreddit back then for saying that. Apparently it’s racist, lol.
That said, all of these movements on social media are really stupid, and if you interact with a person in real world, it seems that most of the issues disappear, aside from some individuals doing very bad things, but that’s what law is for.
The truth is, capitalists are just trying to divide us, and it’s like most people are really blind, and don’t see that, which is crazy to me.
I like GUI’s, but I prefer them simple and customizable, so I eventually want to switch away from KDE Plasma to just some window manager.
